Best Products Tech Gadgets & Accessories

My desk is a graveyard of good intentions. It’s covered in gadgets I’ve tested over the last year, from flagship phones to obscure accessories. Most of them end up in a drawer after a week or two. But some things stick.

These are the editor picks that have earned a permanent spot in my workflow. They aren’t just the newest or the most expensive pieces of tech. They’re the products that solve a problem so well I can’t imagine going back. This is the stuff I actually use every day in 2026.

For Your Desk Setup

Dell XPS 14 (2026)

I’ve been daily-driving this for three months, and it’s the best Windows laptop I’ve ever touched. Dell finally got the balance right. It’s impossibly thin but doesn’t feel fragile, weighing in at just 1.25 kilograms.

My model has the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor and the 14.5-inch 3.2K OLED screen. The display is just stunning for photo editing, and the haptic trackpad is massive and precise. Battery life is a respectable 11 hours for web browsing, which is more than enough for a day away from the wall. It’s pricey, but it makes the latest MacBook Air feel dated.

LuminaView Go Portable OLED

A second screen on the go used to mean a bulky, dim LCD panel. Not anymore. The LuminaView Go is a 14-inch 4K OLED display that weighs a ridiculous 480 grams. It’s thinner than my phone.

It connects and powers over a single USB-C cable, drawing minimal power from my laptop. The color accuracy is good enough for creative work, and having that extra screen real estate at a coffee shop is something I can’t live without now. It’s a simple product, but it’s executed perfectly.

For When You’re On The Go

Sony WF-1000XM6 Earbuds

Sony did it again. The XM5s were great, but the case was a bit chunky. The new WF-1000XM6 earbuds have a case that’s 20% smaller, and the buds themselves are more comfortable for long listening sessions. I can wear them for a full 4-hour flight without any ear fatigue.

The noise cancellation is noticeably better at blocking out human voices, and the sound quality is rich and detailed. I get about 8.5 hours of playback with ANC on, which beats the AirPods Pro by a mile. They’re my go-to for transit, the gym, and just tuning out the world.

Anker 749 Nano III Charger

I’ve thrown out all my other chargers. This single GaN charger lives in my bag and powers everything I own. It’s a 160W powerhouse in a package barely larger than an AirPods case.

It has three USB-C ports and one USB-A port. It can fast-charge my XPS 14, my phone, and my watch all at the same time without breaking a sweat. If you want to simplify your travel kit, this is the first thing you should buy.

For Your Living Room

Chromecast with Google TV (4K Pro)

The old Chromecast 4K was getting slow. This 2026 Pro model fixes that and then some. It has a new processor that feels as fast as an Apple TV 4K, and apps load instantly. The interface is clean, responsive, and surfaces content I actually want to watch.

It also packs in Wi-Fi 7 for rock-solid streaming and comes with a redesigned remote that finally has backlit buttons. At this price, there’s no better or faster way to get all your streaming services onto a TV. It’s a simple, effective upgrade.

How I Pick This Stuff

Nothing makes this list unless I’ve used it for at least a month. I don’t run synthetic benchmarks and call it a day. I integrate these products into my life to see where they shine and, more importantly, where they fail.

I fly with these headphones, I work full days on these laptops, and I charge my personal devices with these chargers. A product has to be reliable, well-designed, and genuinely useful to earn a recommendation. If it doesn’t make my own life easier, it doesn’t make the cut.
