The Google Pixel 7 might be a few years old now in 2026, but it’s still a fantastic phone. I know plenty of people still rocking one. Its camera is still a contender, and that clean software experience is hard to beat. But that glass back and prominent camera bar are just begging for a scratch or a crack.

If you want a little more style and a touch more protection, the Parallax is my go-to. It’s a two-piece case with a flexible TPU body and a rigid polycarbonate frame that adds extra drop protection. I love the 3D hexa-cube pattern on the back; it feels great and gives it a unique look.

It’s a bit thicker than the Liquid Air, but not by much. The side grips are a nice touch, too. It just feels secure in your hand. This is the case for someone who wants solid protection without resorting to a full-on brick.

Okay, this one’s an investment. But the Peak Design Everyday Case is less of a case and more of a gateway to an entire system of mounts and accessories. At its core is a fantastic case with a nylon canvas fabric back that feels amazing and looks incredibly sharp.

The real magic is the SlimLink magnetic locking system on the back. It’s stronger and more secure than standard MagSafe, and it works flawlessly with Peak’s car mounts, tripods, and mobile wallets. If you’re willing to buy into the ecosystem, it’s the best you can get.

For a touch of class, nothing beats leather. Bellroy’s case for the Pixel 7 is super slim and wrapped in eco-tanned leather that develops a beautiful patina over time. My old one has darkened and softened in all the right places, telling a story of its use.

This isn’t the most protective case on the list—it’s more for scratches and minor bumps. But it feels incredible, looks professional, and adds almost zero bulk to the phone. It’s for the minimalist who values feel over military-grade drop specs.

The name says it all. The dbrand Grip is ridiculously grippy, thanks to thousands of microscopic textured dots along the sides. I’ve never felt like I was going to drop my Pixel 7 with this thing on. The buttons are also some of the clickiest I’ve ever tested.

And, of course, you can customize it with any of dbrand’s iconic skins. You can make your Pixel 7 look like carbon fiber, wood, or even concrete. It’s a bit bulky, but if your number one priority is making sure your phone never slips out of your hand, this is the one.

 

 

How to Choose a Pixel 7 Case in 2026

Even though the Pixel 7 isn’t the latest model, protecting it is still important. The first thing I look for is camera bar protection. The case needs a substantial raised lip around that glass visor to keep it from getting scratched when you set the phone down.

Next up is grip. The Pixel 7 is a slick phone, so a case with some texture is a must. Whether it’s the subtle pattern on the Spigen or the aggressive texture on the dbrand Grip, anything is better than smooth, slippery plastic.

Finally, consider your daily life. If you’re just commuting to an office, a slim case like the Bellroy is probably enough. But if you’re outdoors a lot or just clumsy, something with more cushion and a dual-layer design from Caseology or Spigen is a much smarter choice.
